President
MR AJIBADE LATEEF ADEBOWALE
Mr. Ajibade Lateef Adebowale was elected unopposed as the President of the Organisation at the February 9th 2024 elections. He previously served in the position of General Secretary in the immediate past Executive Council and also serve as the welfare committee member of the Nigerian Muslim Community based in Qatar.
Mr. Lateef hails from Ijofin town in Ipokia LGA of Ogun State. He was born and bred in Lagos State. He speaks English and Yoruba language fluently.
He had his school leaving certificate at St. Luke’s Grammar School, Bariga Lagos (1998) and studied at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Ogun State, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Toxicology (2004).
With over 17 years’ experience in Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management, Mr. Lateef is currently an HSE Manager with Infraroad Trading and Contracting W.L.L, Qatar. He had worked for SOZABAT Nigeria Limited (2005 – 2008) before been employed by SEG Qatar between the year 2008 to 20017 and later joined Al Kamal International Company as a Corporate HSE Manager between year 2017 to 2020.
Lateef is a Change.org Online Volunteer and has worked in community outreach and advocacy projects among others.
He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Safety Professional, Institute of Safety, Quality and Environmental Management, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management among others.
Mr. Lateef is a team player who demonstrates reliability, communicates constructively, listens actively, functions as an active participant, shares openly and willingly works as a problem solver and shows commitment to the team.
Lateef is happily married and blessed with beautiful children.

Mr Peter Nonye Awurum is the Vice President of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Qatar (NIDO-Qatar).
Secretary General
MR. MICHAEL NDUKAIHE IHEKWABA
Michael Ndukaihe Ihekwaba (Miller) born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Miller Williams Ihekwaba that hails from Amiyi-Obilohia in Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State is an Occupational Health, Safety, Security & Environmental practitioner along with vast knowledge in Site Traffic Management System skills. Currently working with a reputable international Organization here in the capacity of HSSE Manager dealing with installation, maintenance and repair of intelligent Traffic System (ITS).
Michael (Miller) holds a B.Eng from the department of Agricultural Engineering under Farm Power and Machinery Engineering Option from the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria in 2007/2008 academic session. In addition to that Michael (Miller) holds several Professional certifications and an active member to many international professional bodies guiding his career.
Michael started his working life after University Education with The Heineken Company under the umbrella of Nigerian Breweries as Brand Developer across Nigeria which enabled him to speak and understand several Nigerian languages from year 2008 until 2012 before moving to Qatar in search of greener pasture. In Qatar also, he has wealth of experiences in the field of HSSE and STMS as he has worked on projects not limited to Stadia, Highway Automated Traffic Management System (Highway ATMS), Goldline Metro, Construction of Highways, ITS Installation and Maintenance etc.
Michael has also served in various capacities in Church (Nigeria and Qatar), Community engagements (current Secretary General in Isuikwuato Community-Qatar and Nzuko Abians na Qatar) and also a team Lead with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy volunteering program for FIFA 2022 World Cup.
Michael is happily married to Mrs. Joy Udochi Ihekwaba and at the moment blessed with Destiny Ibe Ihekwaba and Michael ChukwuEbuka Ihekwaba.
Assistant Secretary General
MR. MARTINS IFEANYI OBASI
Following his graduation from the University of Jos, Nigeria, Martins began his professional career with the NNPC/PPMC Jos Depot as a maintenance trainee in Jos before relocating to Union Assurance Ltd. (Union Bank PLC) area 3 Garki Abuja as a sales representative.
Afterwards, Martins relocated to Qatar, where he worked for Schlumberger Overseas S.A (SLB) and worked his way up the ranks to his current position as a Regulatory Compliance Expert. He has had a variety of positions in Qatar with various organisations.
As the head of the Catholic Church’s charitable organisation in Qatar, Martins has worked with a wide range of nationalities and groups to improve the lives of people. He has assisted many Nigerians who come to Qatar in search of a better life by helping them get settled.
He loves to go on vacation and spending time with his family.

Financial Secretary
MR AGUNBIADE OLUWOLE LUCKY
Agunbiade Oluwole Lucky has been a member of NIDO-Qatar since 2011 and he Is the Current Financial Secretary of the association.
Born on 14th of August 1982 into the Family of Prince Adebayo and Esther Agunbiade of Oba-Ile kingdom in Ondo State
He is happily married to Sarah Uwaila Agunbiade and they are blessed with two beautiful and lovely daughters Adeola Sweetness & Oreoluwa Fullness Agunbiade.
He attended Ologboshere Primary School Benin City in 1991 – 1996, He then move to Immaculate Conception College (ICC) and then to Graceland Educational Centre for his Secondary Education where he sat for his SSCE in 2002.
Thereafter, he studied Electrical Engineering Technology from Federal Polytechnic Auchi and graduated in 2007.
During his studies in Auchi Polytechnic he was an active member of the Student Union Government (SUG) as Honorable Member of House of Representative representing Electrical & Electronics Department, and served as Chairman of the Student Security and Welfare Committee.
He was also a member of Junior Chambers International (JCI) Auchi Chapter, and a member of the Nigeria Red Cross society.
With Over 12 years of working experience in Qatar, he is currently working in the heart of Doha Metro Operation Control Centre as a Maintenance Fault Controller since 2019. He had worked as Electrical Site Engineer at STGC-Qatar for the Hamad International Airport Project: 2011 – 2013. He later joins Sino-Hydro as MEP design Engineer where he led a team of 37 draftsmen during the construction of Hamad Sea Port Project from 2013 – 2015. And then move to Salini Impregilo as MEP Project Engineer where he led a team of over 1,650 workers for the construction of 13km Doha Metro Redline North Underground Tunnel and 8 Major Metro Stations Project from 2015-2019.

MR JOHNSON OBINNA NWALA
Mr. JOHNSON OBINNA NWALA was elected as the public relations officer (PRO) of the Organisation.
Mr. Johnson Obinna Nwala hails from Imo State. He was born and raised in Imo State where he obtained his education.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Physics and a diploma in computer Engineering and database management.
He is a seasoned health and safety professional with over 15 years of working experience.
Johnson is bringing years of experience in ICT and social media to contribute to the growth of the organization.

MR EMMANUEL ELOCHUKWU IGBOKWE
Emmanuel Elochukwu Igbokwe hails from Ifitedunu in the Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. He is a proud graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where he earned his degree in Estate Management.
Emmanuel is a multifaceted individual, combining his professional career with a passion for writing. He is the author of the book “Adaku and Moon Secret,” showcasing his talent for storytelling and his ability to engage readers with captivating narratives. His writing reflects a deep understanding of cultural heritage and human emotions, earning him recognition in literary circles.
Currently, Emmanuel resides in Doha, Qatar, where he works as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Personnel. In this role, he is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of his colleagues, applying his expertise to maintain a secure and compliant working environment. Emmanuel’s dedication to his profession and his literary pursuits highlight his diverse skills and his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in both fields.

MRS IHIECHUKWUKWU KATE OSAGIE
Mrs. IHIECHUKWUKWU KATE OSAGIE was elected as the welfare officer of the Organisation she has previously served in the community in several ways
Mrs. Ihechukwukwu Kate Osagie hails from Delta State. She was born and raised in Edo State she obtained her education. She speaks English, Edo, and Igbo language fluently and also understand other languages because she is a fast Lerner.
She is a trained journalist and a professional teacher, youth advocate, trainer, special needs specialist and occupational therapist. With nearly 18 years’ experience in both business and cooperate world.
Mrs. Kate experience will help the community in Qatar in ways that will profit the organization and her members throughout the nation of Qatar, she will worked in the Nigeria community when it comes to outreach and advocacy projects among others in line with the organization set targets and goals.

MR PRECIOUS ONAJOMOH ESEMUO
Mr. Precious Onajomoh Esemuo hails from Amokpokpe in the Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He is a proud graduate and a Retired Nigerian Navy Officer.
He is a hard working & tenacious individual currently also studying and broadening his knowledge here in Qatar as he is studying and perfecting the Qatar Labor Law Course.
He is currently works as an Operations Manager in the Hospitality Industry.

MR RANSOME KELECHI DICK
Mr Ransome Kelechi Dick originates from Imo State and was both born and raised there, completed his education in the same state.
Currently, Mr. Ransome Kelechi Dick is working with one of the grade-A Road and Infrastructure organizations in Qatar, in the capacity of Senior Occupational Safety, Security, and Environmental practitioner With over 13 years of professional experience.
Mr. Ransome Kelechi Dick is a distinguished member of various esteemed organizations, including the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, and a chartered Occupational Health and Safety.
Additionally, he currently serves as the Treasurer of the Sunrise Brothers Social Club and holds the position of Operation Manager at DNR Fashion World.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Ransome Kelechi Dick is a devoted family man, married and blessed with a beautiful baby Girl. He is a firm believer in God, which guides his principles and actions.
